hand tools
A hand tool used for digging cylindrical holes in the ground to put posts in. It is usually about a meter long.
A picture is shown for example at:
http://www.hgtv.com/hgtv/gl_equipment_hand_tools/article/0,1...
While the term is also used for attachments to machines mounted on trucks, I am looking for the term for the hand tool.

@ andrewd: There is a difference between Lochspaten & Handbagger:
The first has straight, parallel handles (as shown in Ardith's link).
The second has crossed handles, like a pair of scissors.
IMO, the terms "Erdlochausheber" and "Pfahllochausheber" are a bit of a mouthful.

: Erdlochausheber or Lochspaten is my choice, we have got one and use it without ever having heard the Handbagger for it here in Saxony, btw. Handbagger is imo more the childrens version for the sandpit

I found another page showing different kinds of "Erdbohrer" which are definitely not motorized.

There is also one similar to that on the page provided by the asker called "Handbagger", which would be an alternative to "Erdbohrer".

: This is the motorized version (an auger); we are looking for the handtool shown in the link provided by asker.

: an Erdbohrer is not always motorized, we used a handtool called Erdbohrer to make holes for fence posts, but it looks different from the photo provided by the asker. I would go for "Handbagger", it seems to be common (google it), or "Erdlochausheber"
