this will be the daily cross we have to bear
Not sure of the rest of your text/context but, from what you have given, this would appear to be the most colloquial translation

If you don't want to use "cross", substitute "daily burden".

: this is the sense I get, too, though I'd make one small change: this will be the daily cross we'll have to bear

: "Daily cross" is a bit of a bizarre metaphor, isn't it? And "daily burden" is hardly any better.

: This is OK, but what's wrong with the obvious?//Upgraded to "agree" because it works OK...but the point remains!//PS I think, if you want something along these lines, "put up with" is a bit better than "deal with".

Thanks Richard ...the funny thing is that I wrote originally that I preferred my answer to 'our daily lot' 1hr 12 mins before you and then crossed it out! It was just a question of choice :-)

This will be our daily lot
Why monkey with the obvious literal translation when it is perfectly idiomatic and as synonymous as you can get?

Our Daily Deal project
why not? what you deal with every day; your daily deal...sounds slighy more exciting and fun than lot..
I would skip the verb in English..just doesn't march...if you get my gist...
Avec un peu de context, on fait mieux, on fait beau, on fait du valable...:)

this will be our daily fare
Though I agree with a couple of the answers already given, this is just another option, IMO.

Web (non-food) examples:
Crimes like robbery, armed assault and murder are daily fare.
Mistakes, glitches and occasionally serious safety lapses are daily fare for Sunshine Express Airlines.
Complex and difficult issues are our daily fare.
It is a welcome change from the official engagements that are my daily fare.

Probably something you just have to swallow :-} But you're right; it does remind one too much of food.
