Does this mean 'mixed/associated with'? Or, something else?

Here's the context:

Tandis que les "respectables" représentants de Krupp s'acoquinaient aves des gens comme Bormann et les membres du conseil d'administration de la banque X, leur usines coninuaient à produire des armes pour l'armée allemande...
