El concepto de alimentación, en el transporte público, es el de vias de menor envegadura que desembocan en vías más importantes. En inglés se usa mucho el término "feed" "feeding" "feeder", por si tu traducción es al inglés.

Dentro del mismo campo del transporte público y la mejora de las redes, el transporte utiliza servicios "de enlace", que serían los vehículos que circulan por esas carreteras o caminos secundarias llevando a pasajeros que posteriormente incorporan a los servicios de las vías principales.
