Spanish term (edited): Facultad de Ciencias Econ�micas y Administrativas

Please note that a Faculty is not the same as a Department. If you translate with Department, you'll have problems later on when you have to translate a Department with the same name. For example, at my university, there is a Faculty of Translation and Interpreting as well as a Department of Translation and Interpreting. The Department may provide lectures for other faculties.

I notice some people have said school. I don't know about in Chile, but in Spain a university has "Escuelas Universitarias" and "Facultades", which do not quite have the same status. I think it's useful to keep the distinction between the two, and in any case, certainly in British English we talk about Faculties in much the same way as the Spanish talk about Facultades.

"Ciencias" can often be translated by "Studies" when Science or Sciences doesn't work, but here it is not necessary. It's just Economics.

For the UAB I translated "de la Administración" as "Public Administration". But I don't think this is correct here. It is not referring to "The Administration", but to administrative asks in general. The UNESCO thesaurus gives "Administrative Sciences", as does another usually reliable glossary I've got, but I wouldn't go with them on this one.

I notice that some people translate the MBA as "en Ciencias Administrativas", but I wouldn't go for "Business Administration", because it could also be for administration in the public sector.

So I think "Administration" is fine for the second part. Or Management, as Jane said.

Yes Giovanni. In British English it means exactly the same as in Spanish.

As opposed to:
5 [C, U] (often the faculty) (NAmE) all the teachers of a particular university or college: faculty members

It says North American English, but a Google search for "Faculty of Law" seems to imply that in Canada the meaning is the same as in Europe.
