Sure, Miranda's right, if you REALLY want to be pedantic, they do exist for burning other things; but in what I presume is your marketing context of a property advert (etc.), 'log-burner' has a certain 'added value' quality, and people will be easily able to visualise what that is, instead of some of the more cumbersome and academically precise alternatives --- as ever, horses for courses, and what's appropriate for your register

I don't like to get involved in the Battle of the Googles, since it is such an invalid way of judging applicability; however, I really DO have to take issue with Carol's extravagant claim for 11 billion hits for 'room heater' -- I couldn't get as many searching on "room heater", I suspect she must have been using "room" + "heater"
However, to illustrate my point, here are the numbers of hits I got for:
"log-burner" = 91,700 hits
but only a measly 53 for "enclosed room heater"
I rest my case!

It is basically a glass-fronted fireplace. Some have back boilers to heat water and radiators, some don't.

: 'enclosed stove' is tautological -- 'built-in stove' might be better... And are you SURE they exist in gas?? I've seen gas fires, but they were never called 'inserts'

another possibility is "enclosed stove" - sounds just as naff :-). It is important to take account of fuel types, it could be gas!

: Again, it's not very catchy, is it? And 'room heater' sounds so terribly 60s! / Not a well-chosen ref. that, as it refers to portable electric appliances! Ambiguity rules...
