Don't think there is a one-to-one translation and usually the Eng. term is used.
When a bank grants a loan this is usually done based on a colateral or security ("nitchonot"). If the value of the collateral decreases the bank comes back to the client and asks for additional collaterals. This is called "recourse". The guarantee is *probably* intended that the client will be able to submit the additional colaterals.
