Come sono memorizzate le marche del vino?

I just need someone to help me understand what this question really means.
Here's the context:
"La prospettiva d’indagine è dunque rivolta alle preferenze dei consumatori. Quali sono i gusti emergenti sul prodotto? Quanto incidono le indicazioni degli esperti? Come sono memorizzate le marche del vino? Quanto conta il packaging? Quali sono le leve di comunicazione più efficaci?"
Could it means something like "What makes wine brands easy to remember?" or something similar? Help!

This is about marketing brands, not labels, although the two terms are sometimes used as synonyms in non-marketing contexts.

Your proposal (What makes wine brands easy to remember?) is fine, although you have perhaps added the notion of "easy".

how do wine labels leave a lasting impression?

Take a trip to any local wine shop or retailer. Check out their French section. What do you find? Many, many labels that are white with the same script lettering. Do these tell you anything meaning how do they leave a lasting impression in your mind so that you can recall the wine without remembering the producer?

I'm not sure 100%, but I think you are right. I think they want to know if clients remember wine brands because they see them on television, because they or their friends drink them, and so on... So I think your solution is ok. Anyway let's see what other collegues think.. Hope it helps,
