English term

abuse the word

English to Polish Other Linguistics o tłumaczeniach ustnych
Ideas may be linked by logical consequences, logical causes, put together without cause-effect relations, and may also be expressed by a series of opposing concepts.
In the first and second case, the interpreter will devote special attention to the connectors used - e.g. therefore, so, consequently, as a result, due to, owing to, as, since, because- whereas in the case of sequential ideas the interpreter should not **abuse the word** and, thereby avoiding the risk of stylistically impoverishing the translation.

Ale o co chodzi??

Do pana Rafała: no i jak dalej: nie powinien nadużywać słowa, w ten sposób unikając zubożenia tłumaczenia?? To logicznie sprzeczne, stąd moje pytanie.
Paulina Liedtke Jul 14, 2006:
