em puc afegir (al grup)?
Another option...
As well: "M'HI VOLEU?". A literal translation would be: "do you want me (to join your group)?". This expression can be used in this situation.
I hope this helps!

: L'opció que m'agrada més seria: «M'hi puc afegir?», perquè és més genuí posar-hi un pronom.

(que) em permeteu?
If it's an expression for a film, I wouldn't add much more information. This would be the same as: "Could I..? May I...?" Maybe in the screen is specific enough. Then again, it could be interpreted as a will to mingle or as a will to speak and take part in that conversation.
"Que" in the beggining is something Catalan people use for emphasis.
Hope it helps.

em puc afegir (amb vosaltres)? / us fa res si m'afegeixo?
The second option whilst being informal is a bit more polite than the first one (conveying the sense of asking for permission ("mind if...") yet in a colloquial sort of speaking). They are both very valid although I would rather use "us fa res..."
Hope it helps. Cheers
