English term

ORP (oxygen reduction potential)

English to French Science Chemistry; Chem Sci/Eng
Oxygen and/or ozone do not steal electrons but donate them—the opposite of the definition of a free radical. In fact, normal metabolism requires free radicals for the
ORP (oxygen reduction potential) of oxygen to break down wastes so that they can be eliminated by the body's organs. Oxidation is required for this process to take place, so to infer that oxygen is harmful and causes
damage is absurd! Just see how long you can hold your breath!

est-ce la même chose que oxydo-reduction potential ? merci bcp !
