the wisdom of the indigenous worldview
This is very similar to your take and also to Karin's answer. I steer away from using "native" which some consider politically incorrect. And "world view" can also be spelled as one word.
I would also consider "She taught me the wisdom of ..."which sounds more natural to me in English.
Here are some examples:
"The Red Road: Indigenous Worldview as a Prerequisite for Effective Character Education." (fr the last link below)
and The Indigenous Worldview as a Prerequisite for Effective Civic Learning in Higher Education.

: perhaps "wisdom" is too positive for the tone of the original? perhaps "knowledge about", and it should be "the" native world view
