construction of a water tank
XXXX uses a jack method for building our tanks. This jacking system and support bracing are fixed to the ring beam during construction.
I have never heard of this "jack method" and haven't a clue as to what it could be, your enlightened knowledge would be greatly appreciated. Unfortunately I do not have any diagram of photos to help.
This is an Australian company and they do sometimes use terms that only they understand!

Je crois que des vérins sont fixés sur la poutre annulaire et "montent" le réservoir au fur et à mesure de la construction de l'embase; cela permet de placer le réservoir au niveau du sol.

Merci pour ce commentaire masi "levage" serait erroné dans ce cas précis car les vérins poussent vers haut; ce n'est pas dulevage mais une technique particulière de construction
