The 'o' is simply OR..
It is positve for this or negative for that...

As elena says - it could be for the \'o\' antigen...

? Gle - O antigen
nne,
Am not sure about "LEG" as it refers to bacteria. I was able to find only "Gle" associated with a bacillus, but I doubt in SP. they'd write it "LEG":
Cloning and nucleotide sequence of the major capsid proteins of Lactobacillus
bacteriophage phi **gle** . Gene. 175(1-2):157-65, 1996 Oct 10.
Abstract
Bacteriophage phi **gle** was induced from a lysogenic Lactobacillus strain **Gle**. phi **gle** genome is double-stranded DNA of approximately 42.5 kilo-base (kb) pairs.
As for "O" they are talking about the "O" bacterial antigen:
Aldova E. Shimada T. New **O and H antigens** of the international antigenic scheme for Plesiomonas shigelloides. Folia Microbiologica. 45(4):301-4, 2000.
Abstract
A revised update of the International antigenic scheme for Plesiomonas shigelloides is presented. Twenty-six new **O (O77-O102) and 10 new H (H42-H50 and H1a1d) antigens** have been described since 1994. The sources of antigens are mostly human clinical strains, isolates from warmblooded animals and a few environmental cultures.

Legionella?
Un saludo.
