**Loi Carrez du bâtiment B**

French to English Bus/Financial Real Estate
The full context is that this appears at the bottom of a commercial property valuation report, which covers two buildings: A and B:

"Loi Carrez du bâtiment B par XXX XXX, Géomètre Expert ..."

XXX XXX being the name of the surveyor. The question is whether this is Section B of the Loi Carrez that is being applied by the surveyor, or whether it just refers to building B?
Proposed translations (English)

just building B

not for grading

I think this is just the size of building B as measured by X in accordance with the "Loi Carrez" (which if I'm not mistaken only includes surfaces above a minimum ceiling height).
Note from asker:
Thank you Sandra. Yes, it does seem to be a jargon way of signing off his report as applying the Loi Carrez to building B.

Carrez Act

Loi > Act (UK Eng.)

http://www.fnaim.fr/infos/decryptage/loi-carrez.aspx

Refers to regulations regarding the setting forth of buildings' areas in sales agreements.

What precedes "Loi Carrez" in the text?

For some years now, the law-makers have been making constant improvements in the protection for people buying property. The Carrez Act was quite an innovation in the field. Since 1997, it has required vendors to indicate the exact area of the property in the pre-contract.

The Carrez Act applies to the individual parts of a property in joint ownership, whether it be a flat, business premises or mixed premises (i.e. a combination of residential and business). Private houses and detached buildings are not covered.
