He was recruited by the world’s third largest tobacco company to help them to ensure Compliance with the many complex legal, regulatory and business requirements. They needed to be able to quickly find thousands of paper and electronic documents, including e-mails; to be able to prove their integrity; and to place a hold on destruction during litigation and Electronic Discovery exercises. Mike initiated an Enterprise Records Management Programme, and related IT Project, to strengthen paper and electronic document and records management, and to facilitate Compliance globally.
