This device the "optical combiner" is described as having glass prism with a dielectric coating to reflect light from an image and a second glass prism. When a pilot vies a scene through the combiner an image (for instance flight information) is superimposed on the scene. This device is called an optical combiner. Now I have found the word "combinator" for this but wonder if it is correct. The Germans call it Kombinierer and the French Combineur. I do not find many relevant googles for Combinator in Dutch. Does anyone know?
