This is one item on a list of parts of a coffee grinder. I think it is the grinding blade itself, but I'm kind of at a loss as to exactly what it means...Any ideas?

Está esta cuchilla en el fondo de la tolva de café pero antes del molino en si. Cuando no se quiere que ingrese más grano al molino, se cierra con la cuchilla de cierre de paso "del grano de café".

Your own suggestion sounds OK to me. The "cierre paso" bit sounds like it means that it also stops the cafe going through, but just "grinder blade" should be sufficient IMO.
