As in, "if you oberserve positive behaviour in your child, reward her."
So far, I am debating between رویہ and طرزِ عمل . To me رویہ means more of an "attitude" than "behaviour."
I want something which suggests "actions" more than attitude, but will be easily understood. طرزِ عمل to me sounds more apt, but it is not in common use and may not be understood as intuitively.

Yes, You are right in your concern. In this context رویہ would be suitable as this word is also commonly used as the translation of the word behaviour in the relevant field. Literally, it's also better than طرز عمل

I chose the answer that I did because it contained all the aspects of the word "behaviour" although I wish there was one good word that I could use. I will use the word "رویہ" since it is easier said and understood, but I will define it initially to include all actions.
چلن seems to bea good word, but it has a hint of moral judgement. For that reason I think that طرزِعمل seems more apt as it sounds very neutral.
It would have been nice to have a word for "behaviour" that could apply to animals just as well to humans, and something that was easily understood.
