English term

Secure Early VoIP Pilots

English Tech/Engineering IT (Information Technology) Microsoft Jargon
Context:

Use Office Communications Server to Secure Early VoIP Pilots

Secure here is used to emphesize that they (Microsoft sales representatives) are on the front to secure their market position, I think.

Can you paraphraze this in more simple language?

Thank you in advance.

I'm not very well up on this subject, but this is what it seems to me that it means.

reinforce security on old voip management softwares

the early generation of VOIP softwares are not safe and you should add Office to get something acceptable in terms of security.

agree rkillings : that this is about making VoIP communication more secure (but not with 'software' in the plural!)
