تقدير - تقييم
As I said above, they're both usually translated as تقييم, so more context would help. But "assessment" may sometimes be used in the sense of تقدير, so if both words are used in the same English text, you could use تقييم for evaluation and تقدير for assessment.

of course knowing the context might have led to more refined meanings along the lines suggested with assessment usually implying a quantitative weighing whereas evaluation would tend to be more qualitative and analytical. The two are actually synonymous, but this would be the best way to give them some distinction when they are used together.

التقويم وليس التقييم
ارجع للمعجم الوجيز او اي قاموس عربي لتكتشف ان كلمة تقييم هي خطأ شائع و الصح هو تقوم انظر في قوم فإن احد معانيها قو الشئ اي قدر قيمته، وليس هناك وجود لكلمة لفعل قيم . لقد نبه علماء اللغة كثيرا الى هذا الخطأ الشائع
