Rent

English to Spanish Medical Medical: Cardiology Cardiology
Hola, amigos
"Then, a large rent was brought through and then sewn to the LAD in an end-to-side fashion".
Gracias

Now it makes perfect sense!

Rent - Apologies I´m deeply sorry for the discussion originated by my question. Unfortunately, I mixed two sentences and this nonsense was created! The actual sentence is: "Next, a large rent was made in the left side of the pericardium". Of course, this one actually makes sense and once more, I would like to apologize for the faux pass and the inconvenience.

agree liz askew : I really don't see how this fits in with being sewn to the LAD..//The asker has supplied the correct context now.

Stent
Peer comment(s):

neutral liz askew : You wouldn't sew a stent to the LAD though.//They are talking about end-to-end anastomosis here.

You should wait for a cardiologist to contribute on this.
