cabeza en bandeja (de plata)
Como lo entiendo sería algo como que "óí/escuché que te presentaron/ofrecieron tu cabeza en una bandeja".
La frase entera normalmente es de "cabeza en bandeja de plata". Y por la frase que has puesto es casi como que le 'amenazaron' con "cortarle el cuello" por el error; una forma quizás poco sutil de decirle que las va a pagar o que lo van a despedir del trabajo.
Es sólo una idea.

I've understood that you're looking for translation from english to spanish, though the heading is the opposite.
