The people who are in the business seem to refer to it as 'voice over'. See for example: http://www.airtalentonline.co.uk/ Doesn't really make sense as the voice is not 'over' anything in this case, but still...

Jag har jobbat som inläsare av medicinsk litteratur. Vi brukade säga att en bok var "read by xx" och ordet inläsare som substantiv användes sällan. Jag skulle skriva om meningen så att inläsare i sig inte behöver användas eller använda ordet "narrator"/"reader". Kan du ge lite mer sammanhang/meningsexempel?
