Now what’s making your job easy here and has made Ramesses job easy when he had as raised relief is that it’s much easier to carve away than sunk relief. You can just slice it off and ah you have a nice pristine surface.

relieve elevado
por oposición al relieve hundido. Puede ser tanto un altorrelieve, como un medio o bajorrelieve. Un altorrelieve es sólo un tipo de relieve elevado en el que las figuras están muy elevadas sobre el fondo. En un bajorrelieve las figuras también se elevan, pero menos.
