Can you help me in this phrase traslation.This is the whole paragraph:" That vote reflects the widespread unpopularity of the private pension funds, which charged stiff management fees, and whose returns were depressed by being bullied into investing 55% of their assets in public debt. The government claims the nationalisation is to defend future pensioners. But if so, it could merely have reopened a scheme to allow pensioners to return to the state system (only 12% did when given the option last year)." (From the Economist- HARVESTING PENSIONS)
