I am translating an operating procedure for a network analyzer and I am struggling with the term 'charge' in this context:
La station de contrôle est composée:
D’un adaptateur et d’une charge 75 Ohm pour la mesure
D’un kit de calibration composé d’une charge 75 Ohm, d’un circuit-ouvert et d’un circuit-fermé
I'm not sure if this is referring to a 75ohm cable, adaptor or charger?

: Although it may well BE a resistor, the fact is that the word used in the source text is 'charge', and the correct translation for that in this context is 'load' — anything more than that amounts to over-interpretation on the part of the translator.
