In the absence of brain injury case manager (in Poland) ocuupational therapist should undertake some of the tasks normally caried out by a brain injury case manager. The tasks include: advise on employment and recruitment issues including selection of carers/ support workers; deal with replacement of workers, adjusting care requirements, liaise with agencies concerning provision of care and monitor standard of care provided, work with the family, establish any required therapy as directed by relevant medical practitioners, coordinating ongoing therapy intervention.
