agree rkillings : OK if 'entries' will be understood as income and expense attributions rather than merely 'écritures'.

Hi Bob – good point – my meaning was indeed "entries" as "accounting allocations", but this perhaps needs to made more explicit? "Auditing allocation of income and expenses to general ledger and cost accounting categories"?

general and analytical audit of the depreciations of book-keepings

The adjectives "générale" and "analytique" apply to the noun "contrôle", I think, because they are singular,but then "générale" should be masculin as well : "général".

"Imputations" in this context means "depreciations" for material goods , or "amortizations" for immaterial goods
Peer comment(s):

disagree Rob Grayson : "Comptabilités" is plural because it is talking about both general ledger and cost accounting. As for "imputations", I have no idea what dictionary could have told you it means "depreciation". Believe me, it doesn't.

If the two adjectives would apply to "comptabilités", they would be used in their plural form, this is quite elementary. Concening "imputations": I suppose that the people who wrote the dictionary got it all wrong then.
