Dutch term

Ingever

Dutch to English Bus/Financial Manufacturing Data entry
Simply, the person who has entered data. However, I'm trying to find one word (or a very brief description) that fits the bill.

Not 100% the same, but possibly usable. Note confidence level. An example sentence or two from yourself might be rewarded with a more 'confident' answer.

Aha, a field name! How about 'Entered by:', 'Entry made by:' or even 'Order taker:'?
Note from asker:
In this case, it is the person who has entered an order. The name of the 'ingever' is a required field. Does this help?

Thanks
disagree Textpertise : User is ambiguous. On a networked system, others besides the data entry clerk could be users. Data entry clerk could misunderstand and enter firm or department name. Ease up, Chris - Disagree to the answer, not to you :-) See also my answer and comment.

'User' was an option I gave before context became slightly clearer. See also the rest of my answer.

Entered by or Entry made by (as given by Chris) are good too but if space limitations require a one-word field name, this could serve.

I don't like "order taker" because the order could be taken by one person, e.g. a saleman in the field and keyed onto the system by someone else.

neutral Bruce Gordon : only because it's a horrible word in English!

Assumes requirement is for an unambiguous one-word solution. No-one said anything about the aesthetics of it ;-)
