- VHF waves (30-300 MHz) not harmful.
- Microwave hazard (transmitter / receivers). Directional waves but residual hazard from “spillage”
- 42 m high towers can be considered relatively safe (min distance 10 m, US FCC, 2000)
- Roof mounted antennas pose higher threat
