APPLICATION OF RUST PREVENTATIVE COMPOUND (RPC)
A rust preventative compound (RPC) must be applied following the fifth (5) stage in the minimum
process outlined above. lf the process should utilize more than five (5) stages the (RPC) may be
applied as the last stage in the process, with a drying stage prior to the application of the (RPC) an
optional step left to the discretion of the vendor. The (RPC) shall be both dry to the touch and
transparent upon drying. A water displacing polar type compound is preferable with the brand
choice left up to the vendor.
