Danish term

anlage

Danish to English Law/Patents
This occurs in a legal document, referring to another document which has been appended to the translation document (we do not access to it). It is merely called "Anlage 1". Could it possibly be a mis-spelling for "anklage"?

Appendix

My guess! Anlage is German and means appendix (which should have been bilag in Danish)

Actually, the appended document might even have been of German origin in the first place, the headline being \"Anlage 1\" (in case of which they are referring to an appendix of another contract...)

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "Many thanks for the information - in fact, logically, the appendix could well have been in German."

Annex

Annex = "bilag" in most of the legal texts I have in my folders.
