(Holy) Sash of the Theotokos
Asadar este Holy Sash of the Theotokos - lumea ortodoxa anglofona foloseste Theotokos, atat in texte liturgice, cat si in scrieri bisericesti.
Sarbatoarea Asezarii Sfantului Brau al Maicii Domnului este numita de ortodocsi anglofoni: Deposition of the Holy Sash of the Theotokos.

Virgin Mary's girdle
In a later tradition, Mary drops her girdle down to the apostle from heaven as testament to the event.[8] This incident is depicted in many later paintings of the Assumption.

Altă variantă:
On December 25th, 2009 in Prato will be displayed the Sacred Girdle of the Virgin Mary (Ostensione della Sacra Cintola).

Virgin Mary's belt
"Red stands for the blood of martyrs, green stands for the vegetation of Africa, while gold stands for the wealth and prosperity Africa has to offer. (On the other hand, some Ethiopian scholars state that the colours originate from an old saying that the Virgin Mary's belt is the rainbow, and that the Red, Gold, and Green are a symbol of this.)"
Discussion
Maxim Marturisitorul :)
"Finally, we Orthodox do not "worship" the Virgin Mary. We "venerate" her and show her great honor. Nor have we ever, like the Latins, developed the idea that the Theotokos was born without sin (the Roman Catholic dogma of the Immaculate Conception) or that she is a co-redemptor with Christ (the cult of the Redemtrix in the Latin Church). The consensus of the Church Fathers rejects such ideas, and the Orthodox Church adheres to that consensus. However, we do believe that the Virgin Mary is an image, as St. Maximos the Confessor says, of the Christian goal of becoming Christ-like, of theosis. Just as the Theotokos gave birth to Christ in a bodily way, so we must, St. Maximos tells us, give birth to Christ in an unbodily or spiritual way"
