Covering the materials used to make "parabolic trough collectors" in a solar concentration power plant, "vidrio blanco" is used to decribe the glass for the mirrors themselves - is "vidrio blanco" used in Spain to describe "clear glass", because I cannot believe the mirror glass is really "white":

| I know white glass exists, I just do not think it is a sensible choice for solar mirrors - it would result in a disperse rather than a direct reflection and lose energy. The question was whether those in the industry in Spain use the term "vidrio blanco" to describe clear glass, which surely must be the type used in mirrors |

: Had you said 'white water glass' it would be correct. Water glass is the common name for sodium silicate.
