editor Michaud lo retomó con algunas modificaciones e inclusive de fondo usó un cuadro de Pedro Gualdi. No prosperó la denuncia de Nebel por plagio.
Editor does not seem like the right term (at least not in English).

I specifically avoided 'reproduced', because that implies that he simply copied it, but the ST says "lo retomó con algunas modificaciones e inclusive de fondo usó un cuadro de Pedro Gualdi". So he didn't 'reproduce' it - he adapted it, he used it to form a new image - and, in the view of Nebel he plagiarised it.
