English term

potential grid lock with associated adverse selection

English Bus/Financial Finance (general) Islamic Banking
Llewellyn (1999) lists the economic rationale for regulation and supervision in banking and financial services: potential systemic problems; correction of market failures; need for monitoring financial firms; the need for consumer confidence; potential grid lock with associated adverse selection; moral hazard associated with safety net arrangements; and obtaining a degree
of preference for assurance and lower transaction costs.

Oh Eric If I say "Please" would it help?
Erik Matson Jun 7, 2010:
Thanks for clarifying Sorry, I thought I had understood completely. Perhaps you should enlighten the ProZ staff about this to so they too can try to be helpful by changing the Kudoz rules to allow for strings of terms as single entries. Divide up the term into (at least) two new Kudoz entries, and I'll consider explaining them to you - at least that way I can get some Kudoz! ;)
Jack Dunwell Jun 7, 2010:
Erik I think you are missing the point here. We try to be helpful. Personally, as an accountant/FD for 30 years I have no idea what this means and I should really enjoy reading and being informed by yr response!
Erik Matson Jun 7, 2010:
so which of these terms are you after? grid lock?

adverse selection?

Send me a PO, I'll send you the translation! ;) My charge is only 0.08 Euro / source word, with a minimum fee of 15 Euros.
