This is essentially heat management: making sure the materials do not trap heat. In English I think one would speak of breathability and wicking, i.e. meaning the material lets your skin breath and doesn't trap sweat.
You could use light weight, which implies the materials will keep you cool.

The term heat resistant makes me think of specialised flame/fire proof clothing as opposed to comfort.

So, I have to conclude calorifuganti is Italian for 'thermal insulating.'

I became confused by the isolanti just before calorifuganti in the translation piece...but, then I realized the isolanti could be insulation/isolation for uses other than heat - such as for keeping cold out/in, sound insulation and other sealants.

Most of the examples of calorifugado and calorifugeage I could find online were for foam and blanket wraps for heating tubes and conduits.

There are lots of brand names for this stuff, but I don't know of one 'technical' name for it in English. Plus, it can be in batts*, spray on foam, wrap on tubes, wrap on tape and others.

That's why I settled on the generic 'thermal insulation'.

One French site defined it as a material 'for preventing the loss of heat on heaters and heat distribution systems' (see Web reference 1).
