Spanish term

modelos cuantificadores del riesgo de tipo probabilístico

Spanish to English Bus/Financial Business/Commerce (general) Risk assessment
Not really sure about the correct order of the words here:

Con la finalidad de minimizar la incertidumbre creada por las técnicas evaluadoras expuestas, se han desarrollado otras alternativas cuantitativas. Así, existen otros **modelos cuantificadores del riesgo de tipo probabilístico**, basados en el análisis de diagramas árbol:

probabilistic quantitative risk assessment models

If the authors mention both 'cuantificadores' and 'probabilístico' explicitly, then I see no valid reason for excluding either term in the translation.

statistical risk quantification/assessment models

Were it just "modelos cuantificadores de riesgo", I think the translation is fairly simple - a model to quantify the risk. I feel the "de tipo probabilistico" refers to the model and not the risk and probability is based on statistical analysis, so "statistical models".

For greater paraphase, and if you want to retain the idea of probability, then perhaps: models for quantifying the probability of the risk.

probabilistic risk assessment models

AsI understand it.

Probabilistic models are, by definition, quantitative, so there is no need to translate that word.
