Pound (currency) symbol

English Social Sciences General / Conversation / Greetings / Letters signing for the deaf
Maybe not the right section, but I am looking for the deaf sign language symbol for the British pound.
So how to indicate "Pound" using your hands etc.

Any suggestions welcome

Which sign language? British Sign Language? (BSL) American Sign Language? (ASL) Dutch sign language? Sign languages, like spoken ones, differ greatly between countries. So the sign (or handshape) for the pound would probably differ as well.

index finger to lips

There's a video on this site that includes British Sign Language phrases for money (that is, if BSL is what you're after here). From what I could gather, the BSL sign for "pound" appears to be an index finger touching the lips. However, the video was a bit jerky, so I'm not sure if I got the right one.

agree Nesrin : The link is the same for all the clips on that page, so the asker should go to the clip entitled "Learn phrases related to money". I think the sign is: index finger touching lips then moving forward away from them.
