University Registrar
This is a common term used in U.S. English for the office of where you go to get your final transcript issued in order to be considered 'to have been graduated from' your university. The highest ranking person is also called the University Registrar. Of course, depending on location, Director General might have a different name-such as Chancellor-or perhaps used in different contexts may refer to the dean of a department, or the university president. There's a lot of hierarchy and many branches at educational institutions...
