: It is not a distribution station. It is the Take Station - the valve and meter - where the distribution system connects to the transmission system and the odorant is injected into the gas.

: Toda estacao de medicao e' um ponto de entrega e recebimento. O medidor na minha casa e' ponto de entrega. O importante aqui e' que o city gate = ponto de troca de custodia entre o transporte e a distribuicao. Trabalho 30 anos no setor de gas natural.

: City Gate já foi sugerido como uma opção na minha resposta. E' uma possibilidade no Brasil, mesmo assim, tambem se usa estação de transferência de custódia no Brasil.
