German term

Knittererholungsvermögen

German to English Other
The things one gets to translate sometimes ....
In a description of a pair of Statz trousers: The sentence has unfortunately gone astray, but this is one of the qualities of the material. Crease-resistance or something similar? Does a term specific to the textiles industry exist? Or is it some marketing concoction?

crease or wrinkle recovery

resistance may be the standard term, but it really means to withstand creasing in the first place, whereas "Erholungsvermögen" in German actually means the ability to recover from something that was not prevented from happening in the first place!
Without a further context it is difficult to determin what was intended.
Good luck.

Permanent Press

This is a my suggestion which may fit in your context.
The definition of "permanent press" is "a process in which a fabric is treated with a chemical and heat to make it less likely to wrinkle, thus requiring little or no ironing after washing" or 2. "the condition of a fabric treated by this process". I know that it does not literally translate "Erholungsvermoegen" but it could be that this is what was meant in your context with the trousers.
Per my experience, fabrics labelled like this here in the US are also less likely to wrinkle when one wears them.

This may give you another idea to translate your text. Hope it helps.
