I am translating a manual user of a debarking machine. I am having difficulties with the word "klätting" either used as "uppklättring" or "avklättring".
Examples:
Proposed translations
(English)
4 | climbing | George Hopkins |
1 | mounting | Diarmuid Kennan |
1 | ascension/descent | Thomas Johansson |

climbing
This is more or less what happens as the barking blade rises from the log or trunk, instead of cutting away the bark.
Note that although sometimes used, 'debarking' is not a correct word. It should be 'barking'.
The same applies to 'delimbing' and 'limbing'. You will 'limb' in this sense in a comprehensive English dictionary.
