I am pretty sure that the "nave" is as defined below, but don't know what an Ag school would call such a thing in English:

"Building" is a normal translation for "nave", also used here in Spanish as defined above. So far I have not been able to come up with a specific word in English that could fit the bill, so "building"is it. "Plant" and "warehouse" do not fit.
I would prefer not to use "experimental" because the building itself is not experimental; rather, it is used for experiments. Of course I would criticise the original in Spanish for the same defect.
