This oil is mainly made in China and the oil is pressed out from the nuts which are found in China and also in parts of South America. This oil is either made up from Tung oil or Polymerized Linseed oil and can also be called the Chinese wood oil, since it is mainly made in China.

Exista diferite retete, in functie de producator, nu e doar ulei de in, sau de nuci, etc. ci un amestec de ulei vegetal cu rasini, in diferite proportii.
