Mise en commun
French to English

Education / Pedagogy
In a set of activities for girls, after each activity is done, they have the "Mise en commun"
which I have translated as "Pooling" but I'm not sure I like it...
ANY idea will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

wrap-up activity
Hello,
That's how I read it.
A good wrap up-activity is to ask participants to share one or two things they found useful or what they might do differently as a result of ...

I understood "une mise en commun" as an activity that is done at the end to evaluate how much the students have learned (involves questions and answers, sharing, etc).

Conference / Mini conference / Information session
I think pooling is almost a good word but does not help if a more concrete sounding noun is needed.
I think "conference" gives an overall description of what this seems to be suggesting. Adding "mini" before it might help remove the official/corporate/governmental sounding associations with the word.
Conference
–noun
1. a meeting for consultation or discussion: a conference between a student and his adviser.
2. the act of conferring or consulting together; consultation, especially on an important or serious matter.
3. Government . a meeting, as of various committees, to settle disagreements between the two branches of the legislature.
If this still sounds too official, maybe "Information session" might describe the event?

: Seems a bit formal for little girls, no?

Which is why I suggested the prefix "mini" or suggested "information Session".

Here is a link on "sharing time", which sounds like what we called "show and tell" in elementary school in the USA:

Confab
This may or may not fit, depending on your context. As the ref says, it's an informal chat session, ideal for younger people. I don't know whether it's used in the US, though. An alternative spelling is "conflab".
