In a hospitalization report, they are explaining the test results from an abdominal aorta CTA. One of the lines says:
צביעה טובה בכלי דם
What is the proper English for צביעה in this case?
Thanks.

I think the information in your sentence is given in another way in English without mentioning צביעה.. In most of the reports I saw online most of the comments were about what is actually seen - they won't say "there is good צביעה in a certain vessel" they will say that the vessel is OK.
However, when talking about צביעה in this context I think you will probably say something about the contrast or density of the object in the picture...
Where are all the MDs when you need them?!

: Staining is used almost exclusively for histology, and a CTA is black and white so coloring is also wrong.

: YES! A CTA is always b&w because in essence it's nothing but a glorified x-ray. The colors seen in the picture you presented are generated by a computer based on 2 separate B&W pictures, and I doubt the machine needed to produce it even exists in Israel.
