: Sorry, it is definitely NOT negligence here. It refers to administrative infringements where negligence is irrelevant. Assuming this is Spain I have translated these things for a large number of lawfirms in Madrid.

I would not use offences / misdemeanors here because we a talking administrative infringements not criminal offences. The distinction is important, and of course does not really exist in UK.

En ningún caso podrán imponerse sanciones que supongan la condena a pagar una multa económica, o que reduzcan las jornadas de descanso o las vacaciones a que tiene derecho el trabajador.
