Airport strip? The Las Vegas strip is the no. 1 in google, and after that one finds Sunset strip & a few others. I also found Airport strip referring to Toronto, and this sounds like a likely possiblity in this case, being near the airport.

You are too kind, Jessica. You may well be right yourself. That´s why I suggested that Belenmc look up some addresses. They could be hotels (because of the 30 minutes) near the airport, and those are the types of hotels you mentioned, that maybe cater to businesspeople and people passing through. Saludos

@Jessica I agree, but in this case, I thought that since it is a tourist brochure, I would think they would highlight the glitzier places vs what you describe. Belenmc: You should probably google some of these strip hotels and find out what part of town they´re in and who they cater to.

The Las Vegas "Strip" is very different from what the people I know refer to as a "strip." The strip is the part of town on the outskirts that is lined with gas stations, fast food restaurants and inexpensive hotels and motels. A "strip mall" is a little shopping center in such a strip where you might find a dollar store, an auto parts store, or the like. So, based on my experience, a strip hotel would be like a Holiday Inn or a Comfort Inn etc. I am sorry I don't know how to express this in Spanish.
